About Jon Karcich
Jon Karcich is a revered figure in the baseball community, known for his unwavering commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
With a career rooted in coaching and mentoring, Jon has dedicated himself to shaping the lives of young athletes through the lens of mental performance coaching.
His expertise has been honed over years of hands-on experience, influencing numerous athletes and teams, including Santa Clara University and Stanford University. Having recently stepped back from coaching at Santa Clara, where he played a pivotal role in the program's rise, Jon now focuses on his young family life while continuing to impart his knowledge to aspiring athletes.
His philosophy mirrors an "all-in" approach, resonating deeply with those hungry for success and willing to invest in their journey to being the best they can be.

Background
Santa Clara University
2017-2024
Spent seven years alongside Head Coach Rusty Filter at Santa Clara University, contributing to the program's first consecutive seasons above .500 in over 25 years. In 2023, Santa Clara University achieved the West Coast Conference Championship and secured a place in the NCAA Regionals. Responsibilities encompassed serving as Recruiting Coordinator, coaching third base, infielders, base running, bunting, and providing assistance with hitters.
Stanford University
2015-2017
Spent three seasons in Palo Alto coaching first and third base, and working closely with hitters, bunters, and base runners. Led the team to become the #1 ranked fielding team in the NCAA in 2016, followed by achieving a strong #15 ranking in 2017.
Summer Collegiate Coaching
2013-2014
Served as an assistant coach for the Mat-Su Miners in the Alaska Summer Baseball League, followed by a head coaching position with the Shelter Island Bucks in the Hamptons League.
Santa Clara Baseball &
Los Angeles Angels
2007-2013
A three-year starter at shortstop for Santa Clara University, earning First Team All-WCC honors. Drafted by the Angels in the 7th round as a shortstop and played over three years in Minor League Baseball, progressing through Low A, High A, and AAA levels. In 2013, returned to Santa Clara University to complete degree.

2006
Graduated from Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, CA, where I was named WCAL Player of the Year and SF Chronicle Player of the Year during my senior year.
